Better Balance, Better Churches and Communities: Courage for Change

Better balance equals better churches and communities! LWF Gender Justice and Women’s Empowerment network invites men and women of member churches and country programs to engage in reflection and dialogue to implement action around the Gender Justice Policy and other resources promoting empowerment, equality and overcoming violence.

The LWF Sponsors training in Women’s Human Rights, including participation from diverse regions of our communion at the 63rd annual Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) meeting at the United Nations in New York. The theme is Social Protection, access to public services and sustainable infrastructure for gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls.

Resources for reflection for member churches and country programs may also include the Sustainable Development Goals: SDG 5— Gender Equality and empowerment of all women and girls and SDG 4— Inclusive and quality education for all and promoting lifelong learning.
