A study document on Lutheran Identity in the global Lutheran communion

In a global communion such as the LWF, the question of one's identity is not an easy one, for it is always linked to the interplay between preserving unity and free versatility.

This study document is intended to be a pedagogical tool for member churches. Through impulse questions, practical examples from projects and survey results, they will be encouraged to search for their own roots and to rediscover the treasures in their own Lutheran tradition through the theological explanations in this document.
