Accountability and Transparency as our Christian Witness

Good practices in church governance and management are a demonstration of our commitment to the call to be good and faithful stewards of the resources entrusted to us. (Matt 25:14 – 30; 2 Cor 5:10)

The LWF Strategy 2019-2024 continues to motivate member churches to empower both lay and ordained leaders in their role as agents for transformation, where churches promote inclusivity by bringing members (including women and youth) into different processes, and the usage of good management tools which allow the churches to be transparent and accountable.

The expected outcome of the seminar would be a stronger theological understanding that affirms good governance and participatory leadership in the LWF member churches, a deepening of the professional expertise of church leaders and improved internal governance and management systems.
