Asia Church Leadership Conference

At their first in-person meeting since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, delegates from across the Asia region will seek to strengthen their mission strategies for growth and revival of local communities. 

Participants will share worship, theological reflection and discussion of ways in which their churches and congregations have responded to the crisis and are resuming their ministry after more than two years of lockdown. 

Agenda: 

• Strengthening the connection of member churches' work with the LWF priorities 
• Identifying and affirming key themes to be followed regionally and globally 
• Identifying needs and developing an agenda linked to the LWF 2019 – 2024 strategic priorities 

Ahead of the 2023 Krakow Assembly, delegates will explore the challenges and opportunities related to key issues including Lutheran identity, youth, gender, theological education and formation.
