Christmas Message 2019

In this year’s Christmas message, LWF President Archbishop Dr Panti Filibus Musa invites Christians to make “the light of Christ visible and transformational for others” in a world darkened by life suffocating forces.

He also notes that many people’s lives are not merry during this season but are instead filled with disappointment, deep sorrow and loneliness. The festive period serves as an invitation “to be agents through whom God expresses unconditional love and compassion for humanity” in contexts marked by discrimination, exclusion, populism, racism and human perversion.
