Call for applications: Peace Messengers Training for youth (Closes on 15 April 2022)

Applications are now open to a training for youth peacebuilders, 1-5 June

Youth from LWF member churches in all regions are invited to apply for a Peace Messengers Training to be held from 1-5 June 2022. This will be a space to reflect on the spiritual call to peacebuilding, learn from peacebuilding professionals, engage in conversation with peers from around the world, and mobilize to build peace in their own contexts.

After the training, trainees will be called to act as peace multipliers and implement projects in their home churches or communities.

Criteria for applications

1. Experience in church leadership and values aligned with LWF’s theological commitments;
2. Commitment to allocate time to implement a local small-scale peace project, with LWF’s support;
3. Endorsement from an LWF member church national office.
