“Lives Shaped in Communion”

Suggested Order for a Reformation Service

This liturgy is a suggested order of service for worship on or around Reformation Day (31 October).

The rich liturgical resource celebrates the life of the woman Reformer Catherine von Bora. It invites worshippers to read anew the story of God’s shaping the lives of women and men committed to serving in love and justice.

The liturgy seeks to promote life in communion, celebrating the experiences of the many women active in different ministries in the church.

The order of service is an initiative of the Women and Gender Justice Network in the LWF Latin America and the Caribbean region.
