Launch: ‘Conviviality’ storybooks on diaconal ministries in Europe

Details

LWF churches in Europe demonstrate how the art and practice of living together—conviviality—is changing approaches to diaconal work.

The stories from the three LWF regions are the latest fruits of the European Diaconal Process that has been underway for almost ten years.

Each of the four booklets explores a different facet of local diakonia. They offer examples of living together in diversifying Europe and seeking conviviality in many fields including employment, addressing homelessness, hunger and poverty, and welcoming the stranger.

The online event will also mark the beginning of the next phase of the process, leading to the Thirteenth LWF Assembly in Krakow, Poland, in 2023.
