At the confessional meeting of the different Christian traditions at the 10th assembly of WCC in Busan, the President of LWF, Bishop Dr. Munib A. Younan made a warm welcome to the whole Lutheran family taking part in the assembly. He spoke to more than 150 persons and said: "we all have loyalness to the gospel," reminding them of the common uniting faith based creed. Younan also stated, that the Reformation day on 31 October in 2013 was not mentioned during the assembly. He said that "justice and dignity" is a strong connecting item between Lutherans and WCC churches.
