The LWF strives tirelessly to develop new ways of achieving financial sustainability in an increasingly competitive world.
Funding
Funding for the LWF’s witness and ministry comes from membership fees; contributions from member churches, related agencies, governmental and United Nations agencies; and the LWF reserves.
Endowment Fund
The LWF Endowment Fund provides additional support for LWF activities as do local income in programs of the Department for World Service and interest earned on investments.
Stewardship
The LWF is committed to practicing responsible and accountable Christian stewardship in managing the funds entrusted to it. All assets are invested according to ethical and social criteria.
