The HIV and AIDS Desk in the Department for Mission and Development (DMD) coordinates the LWF HIV and AIDS Campaign and accompanies the member churches in their response to the global pandemic.
The AIDS Desk supports communion efforts to :
- build capacity for effective action
- become reliable actors working in cooperation with other partners
- develop a solid theological base for AIDS ministries
