The LWF – a communion of churches – is in a process of renewal.
Discerning the way forward
Renewal means the LWF is looking back with gratitude on a rich history spanning more than six decades.
The LWF also is striving to discover how to be relevant in today’s changing global, regional and local contexts.
And the LWF is listening attentively to God’s leading: discerning what the communion is called to be and to do in the years to come.
Walking together
A comprehensive planning process is underway to set the course for the LWF’s journey in the future. LWF member churches, related agencies and sister organizations of the ecumenical movement are contributing to this broad-based, participatory discussion.
