I am a professional who has been working with development issues and humanitarian assistance in Asia, Latin America and Asia for the past 10 years.
I applied for this position with World Service because I wanted to come back to Africa and to work with refugees. I had heard about LWF World Service and the good work they were doing and thought it would be a good opportunity for me.
I hope to learn a lot from my experience with World Service, both personally and professionally from the people I am working with, local staff as well as refugees. I also hope to get a better understanding about Kenya and Ethiopia, about culture and society.
