LWF Mission Document
LWF/DMD published in December 2004 a revised mission document titled "Mission in Context: Transformation, Reconciliation, Empowerment - An LWF Contribution to the Understanding and Practice of Mission." This 62-page document was produced by DMD through a process of extensive consultation with the LWF member churches, mission agencies and ecumenical partners. It builds on the 1988 LWF Mission Document, “Together in God’s Mission: An LWF Contribution to the Understanding of Mission,” and aims at stimulating self-analysis and reaffirmation of mission in context among the LWF member churches and other bodies.

“Churches say ‘NO’ to Violence Against Women”
LWF published the document “Churches say ‘NO’ to Violence Against Women” in 2002 to support its commitment to challenge all member churches to face the painful issue of violence against women in all its manifestations particular to their context. The publication provides theological reflections and practical encouragement to accompany the churches in their efforts to address this critical issue.
