Communication is an integral part of the ministry of the church. Communion expresses itself through communication, while communication strengthens communion.
To support the development of effective communication, the DMD Communication Consultancy program aims to:
- strengthen member churches' competence in the area of communication
- provide communication tools and technical resources and equipment
- assist in communication research and study.

Access and Tools
Member churches are helped to acquire basic computer and communication technology in order to make use of tools such as e-mail and the Internet.
Ethics
Member churches are encouraged to address ethical challenges raised by modern communication technology.
Policies
Member churches receive assistance to develop their own communication policies and strategies corresponding to their specific cultural, social and economic contexts.
Skills and Training
Church workers are trained in media skills and member church communication networks are able to offer workshops and seminars.
