New Leader for Angolan Church
Rev. Tomās Ndawanapo Succeeds Titus NamunyekwaRev. Tomās Ndawanapo is the new president of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Angola. Ndawanapo, former general secretary of the church, succeeds Rev. Titus Namunyekwa who retired toward the end of last year. The church also elected Mārio Passala Velho as its general secretary. The Angolan church has 22,000 members, and joined the Lutheran World Federation in 1997. (63 words)
